• For all those wondering when Jesus will come again, I have an answer. According to Uber Eats, he’ll be here in about nine minutes. He’s delivering me a pizza. :-)

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview - East Bank. Checking in but we’re checking out … and going home.

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview - East Bank. Here for Jenn to get a shiny new more powerful upgraded dual-lead ICD. … now we just wait… and wait… and wait.

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. More and more testing and yet another new cardiologist.

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview - East Bank. Today is day 6. Jenn’s procedure yesterday was not the success we were hoping for, now waiting to see if they try another or if we go home and wait.

  • I tried five times today to read my notifications and each time, I was interrupted by yet more notifications. I know there’s ways to customize things, but I wonder if it’s really worth it or whether it just makes sense to turn most of them off.

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview - East Bank. Day three, so far so good.

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview - East Bank. Day two, so far, all is well.

  • Checked in at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview - East Bank. Jenn had a few cardiac arrests this morning and so here we are. :(

  • I rushed to make Jenn scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast while in a meeting, trying to get everything done before she tried getting out of bed herself. Instead of sausage patties, I accidentally grabbed chicken nuggets and didn’t realize it until after they were cooked. When she sat down to it, she looked at it for a minute and then asked, “Which did you make first?” “Sorry Jenn,” I said, “I guess we still don’t know which came first: the chicken or the egg.” Her response, “Oh well, maybe next time we’ll know.”

  • Woke up this morning thinking the day would be full of surprises. Then got Amazon up-coming delivery notifications for a few products I either didn’t order or at least didn’t mean to order. Guess my premonition was right. :)

  • Checked in at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Met Jenn’s new speech therapist who thinks I look like a soap star from Young and the Restless. Obviously she’s the most awesome speech therapist ever. Lol.

  • Checked in at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Meeting Jenn’s new PT and OT therapists. Tomorrow we meet speech.

  • Checked in at Terminal 2-Humphrey

  • Checked in at Auntie Anne’s. What can I say? It’s just too hard to resist their pretzels.

  • Checked in at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). It’s been a wonderful weekend, but time to head home.

  • Checked in at National Federation of the Blind (NFB). Checking in while checking out as it were, getting ready to head home.

  • Checked in at National Federation of the Blind (NFB)

  • Here it is the first of may and I have not had a scone or a large house blend.

  • Checked in at National Federation of the Blind (NFB)

  • Checked in at Concourse B. According to the ever helpful app notifications, I have landed. :)

  • Checked in at Concourse B

  • Checked in at Concourse B. I am here. Not sure what else to say really, I’m just here and soon I will not be here. But for now, here I am.

  • We have a 7 minute delay but arrive 13 minutes early. I’ve gotten 3 notifications telling me about the delay that isn’t realy a delay. Shouldn’t these things cancel each other out? Woman in front of me has a screaming child, getting a notification about that would have been way more useful. :)

  • Checked in at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). Attending the NFB National Scholarship committee, I’m freaking out just a little as it’s the first time I’ve been this far from Jenn since everything happened.
